Dr. Mei Zhang is currently part of the Shanghi Institute for International Studies and is focused on the China-Gulf Relations. Dr. Zhang studied history, political economy and society of the Gulf States, and has extensively done research on Dubai’s development and growth. Dr Zhang completed her PhD research in 2008, from the University of Exeter.
